According to The Edge news, the group also received a Letter of Award from Sarawak Energy Bhd for the supply and delivery of steel poles and related accessories.

KKB said the Belianemas purchase order is expected to be delivered in stages, with completion scheduled for the second half of 2027, while the Sarawak Energy contract will run for two years until 2028 and will likewise be executed in phases.

“These contracts are expected to contribute positively to our earnings and net assets over the supply period,” KKB noted.

This marks the group’s third major win this year. Earlier, KKB secured a RM212 million engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract from Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd, along with six other contracts totaling RM80 million to supply steel pipes, fittings, poles, and galvanised structural components.

Ahead of the announcement today, KKB shares fell four sen, or 3.3 per cent, to RM1.18, giving the group a market capitalisation of RM340.7 million. — DayakDaily
