KUCHING, June 8: The Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah wished that Malaysians of all races, religions, beliefs and cultures will continue to maintain the unity and prosperity achieved by the nation up to now.
In conjunction with His Majesty’s birthday today, Comptroller of the Royal Household for Istana Negara, Datuk Ahmad Fadil Shamsuddin in a statement today said Al-Sultan Abdullah hoped Malaysians will be united to assist the government in reviving the country’s economy for the people’s well being and the beloved country.
The King also urged the rakyat to be patient and disciplined to observe the new normal practices and abide by all the directives issued by the government in the efforts to break the chain of Covid-19 transmission.
“His Majesty commends the commitment and sacrifices contributed by security personnel and frontliners in the battle against the Covid-19.
“Al-Sultan Abdullah pray that Malaysia will continue to be protected from all kinds of attacks and be blessed with lasting prosperity and unity,” he said. —DayakDaily
