KUCHING, Nov 26: Stall applications for the Chinese New Year (CNY) Festive Sale 2025 at Kenyalang Park Commercial Centre Mall is now open.
Kuching South City Council (MBKS) mayor Dato Wee Hong Seng said the annual CNY festive sales will be held from Jan 14 to Jan 28, spanning 15 days.
Following this, he invited members of the public and shop owners who wish to participate to apply for stall spaces.
“The application forms will be available from Nov 25 (Monday) until 4pm on Dec 13 (Friday) at Counter 9 of the MBKS One Stop Service Centre located at the lobby of MBKS building in Jalan Padungan,” he said at a press conference at MBKS building today.
He further said there will be a total of 270 stalls available for rent.
A fee of RM150 will be charged for each stall (4ft x 8ft) for the general public. This means the stall is priced at RM10 per day.
For shop owners or tenants at Kenyalang Park Commercial Centre, the rate is set at RM100 per stall, with priority given to apply for up to two spaces located in front of or beside their shop.
“The balloting process for the public’s applications will take place after the submission deadline and will be conducted transparently to determine the stall locations,” he added.
