“The first phase of the RM17 million project will provide 50 individual residential lots, with the entire scheme eventually comprising around 130 lots on a 24.7-hectare site.

“The project includes the construction of access roads, drainage systems, and treated water supply infrastructure,” he said.

Nanta, who is also the Federal Minister of Works, noted that upon completion, the project will offer essential amenities such as electricity, water supply, and improved telecommunications services.

“I hope the completion of this project will provide a more conducive living environment and significantly improve the quality of life for the residents,” he added.

Nanta was accompanied during the visit by Deputy Minister in the Premier’s Department (Native Laws and Customs) Datuk Jefferson Jamit Unyat, Pelagus assemblyman Wilson Nyabong Ijang, and officers from various government departments and agencies. — DayakDaily
