Kampung Tabuan Melayu placed under EMCO for 2 weeks until July 29

KUCHING, July 15: Kampung Tabuan Melayu will undergo the Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) for two weeks starting tomorrow (July 16), until July 29.

According to the State Disaster Management Committee’s (SDMC) daily update on the Covid-19 situation in Sarawak today, four other localities EMCO starting today (July 15) until July 29, namely in Rh Denis in Sg Klampai of Seratok, Rh Jangan Nanga in Gong Ulu Senulau Budu of Seratok, Rh Kelabit in Engkalat of Betong, and Rh Anggat in Sg Garu Sebangkoi of Sarikei.

For Rh Allin in Sg Seleku, of Sarikei, the EMCO began yesterday (July 14), and will end on July 30.


Meanwhile, the committee also announced the end of the EMCO implemented in seven localities throughout the state today.

Among the localities involved are Shin Yang Shipyard worker quarters Lot 210 and 211 in Miri (July 13), Rh Engkang in Sg Kerapa Selalang of Sarikei (July 15), Air Marine Cargo worker quarters in Bintulu (July 15), Kampung Mongkos in Serian (July 15), rented room (above Happy Cafe) in Berjaya Commercial Center of Bintulu (July 15), Rh Johnathan Philip Anak Bunyeh @ Bunyih in Tatau (July 15), country Forest Industries Sdn Bhd Lot 121 in Kuala Baram Town District of Miri (July 15), and in Sarawak Oil Palms Berhad Suai 1 Estate (Gelasah Division) in Subis of Miri (July 15).

For Shin Yang Shipyard, Lot 210 and 211, the EMCO ended on July 13. — DayakDaily
