KUCHING, May 13: Joseph Chieng Jin Ek has been elected as Sibu Methodist Schools Alumni Association (SMSAA) chairman for the term 2023/2024.
SMSAA in a statement today, said that following the SMSAA’s 50th annual general meeting (AGM) held on May 6, Peter Wong was elected as the first vice chairman, and Albert Tian Ming Ing was the second vice chairman.
Eliah Lau Sie Yu were elected as the association’s secretary, while Soon Loi Khim as assistant secretary.
During the AGM which was held in SMK Methodist Sibu Alumni Room, Ween Siaw Shi Kai was voted as treasurer assisted by Rory Wong Ee Yion.
Other committee members are Cr Mohammed Abdullah Izkandar DDato’Roseley, Eric Ling Ee Yuok, Laurent Ngu Si Hou, Joyce Ling Siew Hie, Kong Khek Pin, and Jamie Chiong Choo Ngiik. — DayakDaily
