KUCHING, Aug 7: The Jom Kurus Campaign is collaborating with CrossFit Kuching for the first time ever at The Great Rimba Zumbathon taking place on Aug 10 at the Dayak Bidayuh National Association (DBNA) headquarters here.
According to a press release today, the weight loss programme created by celebrity fitness guru Kevin Zahri will use the CrossFit approach in its programme.
The programme will be run by coach Husnul Jane for six weeks in line with Jom Kurus season 13 which starts nationwide in August with 200 programmes running all over Malaysia.
Participants of the programme can expect a tailored fitness regiment to cater to all levels and to learn proper and safe techniques to train, resulting in a fitter and leaner physique, and better endurance and daily energy.
The Great Rimba Zumbathon is a Zumba fitness and wellness event held in conjunction with the International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples, in which part of the profit of the event will be going to the Helping Hands Penan charity.
The highlights of the event would be a Zumba class with Korean Zumba education specialist Seon Young Moon aka ZES Nana, free health screenings as well as free fitness sessions in CrossFit, Capoiera and Muay Thai.
In addition, there will also be a food bazaar with Starbucks food truck, Canard Eat & Roll, Rawkitchen Juicery and more.
