KUCHING, April 26: JobSarawak, the Sarawak government’s centralised employment hub, is participating in Datuk Sebastian Ting’s 4th Education, Career and Entrepreneur Fair, which is taking place from April 25 to 27 at Pullman Waterfront Miri.
The event gathers over 40 academic institutions and 20 companies, offering young Sarawakian talents the opportunity to explore educational pathways and engage with key industrial players to secure meaningful employment and understand the job market.
“I am thrilled that the event continues to attract top education institutions, government agencies, and industry players from various industries across Sarawak and young Sarawakians.
“This provides an effective platform for our young talents to discover pathways towards higher education and career opportunities,” said Deputy Minister of Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts Datuk Sebastian Ting.
The fair is also supported by strategic partners, including Pertubuhan Keselamatan Sosial (PERKESO), MMS Miri, and Junior Chamber International (JCI) Riam Chapter.
Catering to diverse interests, from Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) to entrepreneurship, the event features career consultations, skills workshops, and on-the-spot job application opportunities.
