MIRI, June 19: An 11-year-old girl claimed that her brother-in-law molested her sometime in April this year when both of them were watching television together.

Police have arrested the 23-year-old suspect, who is jobless, following a report lodged by the victim’s mother yesterday (June 18). The suspect was picked up from a house in Kampung Lembah Hijau at about 2.30am today.

Miri deputy police chief Supt Sabri Zainol, when contacted, said the alleged incident happened in April, but the victim’s mother just found out about it.
