KUCHING, July 2: A temporary night road closure will be enforced at Jalan P Ramlee and Jalan Masjid here from 10pm to 4am daily between July 2 and July 4, 2025, to facilitate building demolition works.
According to a notice issued by Sarawak Metro Sdn Bhd (Sarawak Metro), the three-day road closure is necessary to ensure the safety of the public and construction workers during the demolition process.
Motorists are advised to be cautious when driving in the area and to observe all traffic management measures, road warning signs, and speed limits.
Sarawak Metro assured that any updates or changes to the closure will be communicated to the public in a timely manner.
Road users are also encouraged to plan their routes accordingly to avoid delays during the affected hours.
