KUCHING, March 25: A section of Jalan Lapangan Terbang near the Kuching Sentral traffic lights here will be temporarily closed at night from March 25 to 30 to facilitate HDPE pipe-laying works, Sarawak Metro announced.
According to a notice issued by Sarawak Metro, the partial road closure will occur daily from 9.30pm to 4.30am throughout the six-day period.
Road users are advised to exercise caution while driving in the affected area and to comply with traffic management control measures, including road signs and speed limits, to ensure the safety of both motorists and construction workers.
Sarawak Metro stated that any changes to the scheduled works will be communicated to the public accordingly.
Motorists are encouraged to plan their journeys ahead and drive safely during the construction period.
