KUCHING, July 23: Half of the Kuching-Bau Road from Kampung Bumbok junction until Siniawan junction will be closed for a site inspection from July 26 to 30.
Public Works Department (JKR) Kuching said this section of the road will be undergoing a Dynamic Cone Penetration Test at scheduled times, thus road users are advised to obey the safety signs in the area.
From July 26 to 28, the inspection works will be done from 7.30pm to 11.00pm. From July 29 to 30, it will be from 8.00am until 3.00pm.
“Please follow the safety signs provided and the flag keeper’s instructions for smooth traffic flow.
“JKR Bau District will inform the public if there are any changes on the date, time or area involved with the inspection,” said JKR Kuching in a statement today.
Road users are also advised to plan their trips ahead of time if travels to the affected area are required.
