KUCHING, Sept 4: The Public Works Department (JKR) Sarawak has issued a notice regarding the temporary closure of Jalan Betong in the Betong Division, specifically at the Maktab Rendah Sains Mara (MRSM) Betong area, effective from Sept 5 until Oct 31, 2024.
According to the notice, the closure is necessary to facilitate construction work on the culvert (Culvert 119a) in the area.
For any inquiries related to the traffic flow or the ongoing construction, the public is encouraged to contact the JKR Betong office at 083-472101 during office hours. The officer in charge is Muhammad Kashral Kamalmirza.
The department also emphasises the importance of safety and advises the public to be cautious when approaching or passing through the construction site. — DayakDaily
