In a post shared on its social media on Monday (Dec 22), JKR Sarawak emphasised that the successful implementation and completion of these projects reflect the technical agency’s commitment to delivering education infrastructure that meets required standards and supports the well-being of students and teachers.

Earlier yesterday, JKR Sarawak director Datu Ir Cassidy Morris led a delegation on a courtesy visit to the Sarawak Education Department director Omar Mahli , aimed at strengthening strategic collaboration between the two agencies in advancing education infrastructure development statewide.

During the visit, both parties held in-depth discussions on key matters including school maintenance, new construction projects and the upgrading of existing facilities throughout Sarawak.

JKR Sarawak also briefed the Education Department on the planning and progress of ongoing education-related projects.

Cassidy said feedback gathered directly from the education authorities is crucial to ensuring that facilities delivered truly meet the needs of users on the ground.

The visit reaffirmed JKR Sarawak’s ongoing role in supporting the State’s education aspirations through the provision of safe, conducive and quality infrastructure, in line with the Sarawak government’s broader development objectives.
