KUCHING, March 5: Repair works for pipe leakage which caused water disruption in Igan, Mukah will be carried out today to restore water supply, said Rural Water Supply Department (JBALB) Mukah Division.
JBALB Mukah Division in a statement today said the location of the leakage, which caused the water supply disruption on March 4, has been identified after conducting a search for a few days.
“The department has also appointed a contractor to carry out the repairs works in the identified location,” it said.
JBALB noted they will also carry out a delivery of water supply to the affected areas.
“It is hoped that the residents affected will provide temporary water storage. We apologise for the difficulties,” it added.
