KUCHING, Oct 29: A temporary closure of one lane (slow lane) along Jalan Tun Jugah will be enforced beginning today until Oct 31 between 9.30pm and 4.30am to faciliate tree-cutting works along the road shoulder.
In an advisory notice today, Sarawak Metro stated that the closure is part of the ongoing development of the Kuching Urban Transportation System (KUTS) Phase 1, involving construction and completion of infrastructure works for the autonomous rapid transit (ART) Red Line network from Kuching Central to Pending.
Motorists are advised to exercise caution and plan their journeys accordingly, observing all traffic management measures, warning signs, and speed limits for safety around the construction zone.
Sarawak Metro will inform the public of any changes to the schedule.
