KUCHING, Oct 27: Jalan Masjid is scheduled to be closed starting Nov 6 to 20 to facilitate the completion of a drainage construction project.
In an advisory notice yesterday, Kuching North City Commission (DBKU) said the temporary road closure is to remove traffic from the construction zone which could disrupt and complicate completion of the work being carried out.
It is also to ensure the safety and comfort of motorists and road users.
As such, the public are advised to pre-plan their journey and choose alternative roads to reduce congestion in the area due to the road closure. — DayakDaily
