KUCHING, March 5: A section of Jalan Canna (towards The Northbank/TT3) will be reduced to a single lane from 9am to 4pm daily until April 2, 2025, to facilitate tree-cutting works.
In an advisory notice, Sarawak Metro stated that the temporary partial lane diversion is part of the ongoing construction for Blue Line Package 2 of the Kuching Urban Transportation System (KUTS), which connects The Northbank to Hikmah Exchange.
Road users are advised to exercise caution when navigating through the area during this period.
Motorists have been reminded to always adhere to all traffic management measures, road warning signs and speed limits to ensure safety.
Sarawak Metro will provide updates if there are any changes to the work schedule.
