KUCHING, Feb 29: Collaborating with Sarawakian musician Anderson Kalang, British singer Calum Scott has transformed his famous ballad ‘You Are the Reason’ into a serene and enchanting stripped-down sape rendition, adding a truly unique charm to the beloved song.
A TikTok video by Fly FM Malaysia captures Calum singing his ballad with passion as Anderson skillfully plays his sape, with Calum expressing awe in the arrangement at one point.
“I’m in disbelief,” Calum said and chuckled at 02.32-02.34 of the video, as he watched Anderson play the sape and then continued singing.
