“We know a lot of foreign investment in Sarawak, and we hope that the Sarawak government will choose ICC Arbitration a trusted mediator for resolving disputes.

“We also hope to build a strong relationship with the Sarawak government,” she said when met by reporters after paying a courtesy call on Sarawak Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg at his office in Wisma Bapa Malaysia today.

Salomon also noted that the interests of the Sarawak government align with the ICC court’s core mission, which focuses on governance, development, and economic prosperity.

Additionally, the ICC plans to offer and develop educational programmes for lawyers in Sarawak, along with capacity-building initiatives.

“We aim to create an advanced education programme so that more lawyers dealing with cross-border contracts understand the value of ICC arbitration,” she added.

The ICC is committed to promoting open trade, business self-regulation, combating corruption, and addressing commercial crime on a global scale. — DayakDaily
