SIBU, May 23: An Indonesian was sentenced to 7 months’ imprisonment by the Magistrate’s Court here today for offering sex services.
The accused, Tatik Wahyuni, 44 from Central Jawa, Indonesia pleaded guilty under Section 372B of the Penal Code.
The offence carries a jail sentence of up to one year, or fine, or both if convicted.
According to the brief facts of the case, the accused was charged with offering sex services to a man in a room of a hotel at Jalan Pulau at about 4.30pm on May 19.
When a police team arrived at the hotel, they found both the accused and the man naked.
The police also found a pack of condoms with one used piece, and RM60. — DayakDaily
