KUCHING, July 16: Ibraco Berhad has strengthened its longstanding partnership with Hope Place by providing the organisation with the use of a new Toyota Hiace van, aimed at enhancing its ability to deliver humanitarian assistance to underprivileged communities across Sarawak.
The vehicle was officially handed over to Hope Place during a ceremony held on July 9, witnessed by representatives from Toyota, Hope Place, and Ibraco.
The contribution marks another milestone in the partnership between Ibraco and Hope Place, which began in 2017 with a shared commitment to supporting individuals and families in need throughout Sarawak.

According to a media release today, the collaboration over the past nine years has grown into a meaningful partnership focused on creating lasting social impact and responding to the evolving needs of the community.
Since the partnership was established, Ibraco’s support for Hope Place has extended beyond financial contributions. The Group has provided complimentary office space for Hope Place’s administration at Tabuan Tranquility and facilitated the establishment of the Hope Place Charity Centre at TT3 Plaza, enabling the organisation to generate sustainable funding through the sale of donated pre-loved items.
Ibraco has also supported Hope Place through monthly contributions, home repair assistance, donations of essential food and daily necessities, as well as collaboration on the NGO’s annual Charity Without Borders outreach programme.
The newly provided Toyota Hiace van is expected to further strengthen Hope Place’s operations by improving the organisation’s mobility and efficiency in delivering aid, conducting home visits, and reaching more beneficiaries across Sarawak.
Speaking at the handover ceremony, Ibraco said the Group views corporate responsibility as more than just a contribution.
“It is about building long-term partnerships that create meaningful and sustainable impact. For nearly a decade, Hope Place has made a remarkable difference in the lives of countless families and individuals. We are honoured to journey alongside them and hope this vehicle will help ease their daily operations, enabling them to reach even more people in need.
“At Ibraco, we believe that building sustainable communities goes beyond developing quality townships. It also means supporting organisations that uplift lives and contribute positively to society,” the Group said.
The latest contribution underscores Ibraco’s continued commitment to community empowerment and its efforts to support organisations dedicated to improving the lives of those in need.
