Husband and wife rushed to Batu Niah Health Clinic after two-vehicle collision

MIRI, March 17: A man and his wife, both aged 47, were rushed to the Batu Niah Health Clinic for immediate medical attention earlier this afternoon after they were involved in a two-vehicle collision

Firefighters from the Batu Niah fire station led PBT II Rary Binjie swiftly responded to the scene of the collision, where they were tasked with extricating the victims from the car.


The couple was travelling in a Proton Saga, along the Sepupok Niah road, when their car collided with a single cab four-wheel-drive (4WD) vehicle transporting oil palm fruits to a processing plant.

The 4WD vehicle driver, 64, was reported unharmed in the 2pm incident. — DayakDaily
