KUCHING, Feb 9: Students, teachers and parents are invited to join State Library (Pustaka Sarawak)’s virtual classes for information literacy to use Learning Port as a valuable e-learning tool for teaching and learning.

The virtual class will be organised through Google Meet platform in two sessions starting tomorrow (Feb 10) at 2.30pm and on Feb 13 (Saturday) at 10am.

According to Pustaka Sarawak in a media release, the objective of the information literacy virtual class was to ease learning of students using Learning Port to access learning materials for primary school subjects.

Learning Port Interative is a comprehensive, engaging and interactive e-learning system that can help children improve their academic performance in examinations.

Participation for the virtual class is free and open to all primary school students. Teachers and parents or guardians are also welcomed to join the class.

The virtual class is limited to 30 participants for each session. Those interested should sign up immediately via https://docs.google.com/…/1FAIpQLSeJpbZBH9…/formResponse.

Participants must ensure that they have registered as a member of Pustaka Sarawak via Sarawak ID. Those who have yet to register can do so via https://sarawakid.sarawak.gov.my/web/ssov1/signup/.
