MIRI, Feb 20: Long queues were seen today at all Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) outlets in Miri, as hundreds of responded to KFC’s 20.02 ‘Two Snack Plate combo’ for RM 20 one-day campaign on Thursday.
A brief survey carried out today saw customers willing to queue up at KFC outlets around Miri as early as 9am in order to enjoy the promotion.
At KFC Bouleveard Hypermarket Jalan Miri-Pujut here, the queue started as early as 9am, and seemed get longer as the day rolled on.
It was estimated that more than 100 people were lined up in the queue and the figure kept on increasing.
The one-day promotion started at 10am and ends 10pm today.
One of the customers in the queue who wished to only be known as Anne, said that she didn’t mind being in the long queue.
For other customers, the weeks-long outbreak of coronavirus did not hinder them from joining in with the crowd. —DayakDaily
