KUCHING, June 12: Sarawak Health Department has confirmed that Mukah KFC was ordered to shut down for 14 days.
According to a department spokesperson, the only KFC outlet in Mukah was ordered to close from 12pm of June 9 to June 22 due to hygiene reasons that may cause harm to the people’s health.
The notice was issued under Section 11 of Food Act 1983.
Prior to this, a photo of the notice went viral on social media recently.
The which photo was uploaded on the Amazing Sarawak Facebook page at 10.33pm on Friday (June 9) has garnered 330 reactions, 62 comments and 39 shares. — DayakDaily
