KUCHING, Apr 21: A senior citizen was killed when a house collapsed in Kampung Semariang Baru.
According to Bomba, the 72-year-old deceased named Hajijah Mahtar was in the kitchen when that portion of the house collapsed on her at around 7.25 am.
Bomba immediately started to extract the senior citizen from under the rubble, but she was pronounced dead from serious head injuries by the medical officers who had also reached the scene. —DayakDaily
