KUCHING, March 27: Media practitioners were treated to a ‘buka puasa’ (breaking of fast) dinner by Hock Seng Lee (HSL) at Shang Pot, La Promenade Mall, tonight.
The programme was an all-you-can-eat affair in a ‘hot pot’ style with various servings, including the eatery’s signature Iga Wagyu Beef cut.
HSL digital marketing manager Sophia Ong said it was an honour for HSL to host the media members every year for ‘buka puasa’.
“The media keeps us updated with the latest business news and industry happenings, and as a property developer, the media helps HSL promote our products, too,” said Ong.
She also said every ‘buka puasa’ programme for the media organised since La Promenade Mall opened in 2020 had been held at a different eatery.
“We try to surprise the media every time, and I hope everyone enjoys the experience. Who knows which new restaurant we will eat at for next year’s programme,” she added.
Located along the busy Kuching-Samarahan Expressway, La Promenade Mall community tenants consist of Sarawakian brands such as Black Bean Coffee & Tea, Zoro by Mr Domus, Noms, Authentic Chicken Rice, and Foo Man Ting.
For Ramadan this year, La Promenade Mall also hosts its Ramadan Bazaar with dine-in seating.
