KUCHING, Nov 4: With the Christmas season approaching, it is a time for miracles to happen, and one of the ways to do so is to help a child from The Salvation Army fulfil their Christmas wish.
The Waterfront Hotel, as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR), has set up a special Christmas tree designed to fulfil the wishes of The Salvation Army’s children.
These wishes, carefully crafted by the children, will be displayed on the tree throughout November until December, and The Waterfront Hotel invites anyone to be a part of making these dreams come true.
In addition, the children were invited to the hotel to witness its first-ever Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony last night (Nov 3).
The heartwarming night was filled with joy and generosity as the holiday spirit commenced with the melodious voices of 60 Christmas carolers from The Salvation Army, allowing guests to experience the true essence of Christmas and usher in the festive season as they joined in this heartwarming rendition.
Later, guests were feted to a buffet dinner at Café Via Mare at Level 4 of the hotel, where the culinary team had prepared a delectable feast featuring a wide array of festive dishes.
