KUCHING, Nov 4: A miring ceremony was held for a bridge construction project connecting Jalan Balau to Banting in Batang Klauh, Sri Aman.
The Public Works Department (JKR) Sarawak, in a Facebook post yesterday (Nov 3), said the ceremony was witnessed by Bukit Begunan assemblyman Datuk Mong Dagang.
According to the department, funded by the federal government, the project was approved under the 11th Malaysia Plan (RMK11) and is expected to be completed by the end of the third quarter in 2024.
It involves the construction of a 1.5km R3 standard and an 8km R1 standard road, together with a 91m-long concrete bridge and 30m embankment on both sides of the river. — DayakDaily
