KUCHING, June 26: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a thunderstorm warning for parts of Northern Sarawak for this afternoon into early evening.
Anticipated weather conditions include thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds affecting Miri (Subis, Beluru, Miri, and Marudi) and Limbang (Limbang). The warning, which was issued at 4.35pm today, will remain in effect until 7pm.

“A warning is issued when there are signs of a thunderstorm with a rain intensity greater than 20 mm/hour that is approaching or expected to last for more than an hour. A thunderstorm warning is a short-term warning that is valid for a maximum of six hours per release,” it highlighted. — DayakDaily
