KUCHING, April 14: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a thunderstorm, heavy rain, and strong wind warning for several areas in Sarawak, effective until 9pm today.
The affected areas include Kuching, Serian, Samarahan, Sri Aman (Sri Aman), Betong (Betong), Bintulu (Bintulu), Miri, and Limbang.

The warning was issued at 5.30pm after signs indicated thunderstorms with rainfall intensity exceeding 20mm per hour, expected to persist for more than an hour.
