SERIAN, Dec 8: Police are looking for a man known as “Pakcik” to assist an investigation into a murder in Kampung Abit in Serian.
Serian police chief DSP Aswandy Anis appealed to the public to help relay any information about the suspect to the police.
“The suspect is only identified as “Pakcik”, and anyone who knows the suspect can forward information to the investigating officer ASP Alias Nen at 016-8830433 or to any nearby police station,” he revealed in a statement today.
On December 6, the police received a call from a villager in Kampung Abit informing them about a dead body that was found in an oil palm plantation in Kampung Abit.
It was later discovered that the body belonged to an Indonesian based on the information contain inside a bag that was found near the body.
The case is classified as murder and is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code. — DayakDaily
