KUCHING, July 28: The Public Works Department (JKR) Sarawak has announced several half-road closures in Bintulu for road repair works from July 29 to August 31.
In three separate notices today, JKR Sarawak said the road closures will involve stretches along Jalan Airport near Batang Kemena-Bintulu /Airport Junction, Shin Yang Traffic Light Junction, Batang Kemena-Sg Sibiu No 1, and JPJ Traffic Light Junction.
The closures will be implemented from July 29 to Aug 8, from 7pm to 5am during the affected dates.
Another road closure will involve Jalan Bintulu/Bakun, Sg Kelabai-New Bintulu/Kapit Boundary from July 29 until Aug 31, from 8.30am until 5.30pm.
Road users are advised to exercise caution when passing through the construction area and to adhere to the safety signs provided.
