SRI AMAN, Sept 30: The Public Works Department (JKR) Sarawak has announced two half-road closures at Jalan Merdeka and Jalan Datok-Jalan Resak in Sri Aman.
In two separate notices today, JKR Sarawak said the road closure at Jalan Merdeka will begin in early October to give way for the construction of a new road connecting Batang Lupar No.2 Bridge.
The second notice said the Jalan Datok-Jalan Resak road closures near the Sri Aman Division Resident Office were aimed to give way for soil nailing works.
Road users are advised to exercise caution when passing through the construction areas and to adhere to the safety signs provided.
