KUCHING, Aug 3: A temporary half-road closure will be implemented from Jalan Datuk Amar Kalong Ningkan towards Jalan Tun Ahmad Zaidi Adruce here, starting today and continuing until Sept 3.
In a notice posted on Facebook, the Sarawak Public Works Department (JKR) said this is to enable road repair works to be carried out safely and in an orderly manner, improving the safety and comfort of road users.
“The works involve repairs to the road along the affected stretch to ensure the road surface is in better condition and safer and more comfortable for public use,” it said.
The department also advised road users to drive with caution and comply with all safety signs and traffic control instructions throughout the works.
