KUCHING, Aug 3: Bintulu Port Holdings Berhad (BPHB) will appoint Anuar Ismail as its new President and Group Chief Executive Officer effective Aug 17, following the conclusion of Dato Ruslan Abdul Ghani’s tenure after years of steering the group through strategic growth and operational expansion.
In a recent statement, Ruslan will conclude his tenure on Aug 16 after leading the group through the implementation of strategic initiatives, strengthening operational excellence and reinforcing BPHB’s position as an integrated maritime and logistics provider.
Announcing the leadership transition, BPHB chairman Datuk Amar Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki expressed the Board’s appreciation for Ruslan’s contributions to the group.
“On behalf of the Board of Directors, I would like to express our sincere appreciation to Dato Ruslan Abdul Ghani for his exemplary leadership, dedicated service and unwavering commitment to Bintulu Port Holdings Berhad.
“His strategic vision and stewardship have contributed significantly to the Group’s growth, strengthened our position as an integrated maritime and logistics provider, and laid a strong foundation for BPHB’s continued success,” he said.
The Board also congratulated Ruslan on his new leadership appointment and wished him success in the next chapter of his career.
Abu Bakar said the Board is confident that Anuar’s leadership will build on the group’s strong foundation while ensuring continuity in executing its strategic priorities and delivering sustainable value to shareholders and stakeholders.
