BAU, Sept 13: The Hakka Lion Dance Mural at the Siniawan Heritage Town Chinese Street aims to establish itself as a new attraction for visitors in the Serembu area.

According to a news report by the Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas), Serembu assemblyman Miro Simuh said visitors could take memorable photos with the mural, which was also in conjunction with the Mooncake Festival being celebrated following a two-year absence due to Covid-19.

“The Mooncake Festival is a significant festival for the Chinese community in that they remember the important festivals brought by their ancestors who came from Mainland China,” he said.
