KUCHING, Feb 23: This week, Hock Seng Lee’s (HSL) La Promenade is greener than ever!

On top of the Green Building Index-ceritified HSL Tower, La Promenade’s already green landscaping has been accentuated by 168 bonsai trees that come in all sizes and shapes.

Some are so tiny that you would have to lean over and squint your eyes to closely observe the branches and leaves while the giants that could not fit indoors are displayed outside by the parking spaces.

The usually spacious lobby of La Promenade Mall is now crowded with beautiful living works of art cultivated by bonsai enthusiasts and experts from all around Sarawak, for Sarawak’s largest ever bonsai competition since 2019.
