GPS grants RM500k for new classroom block at Batu Kawa Min Lit secondary school

KUCHING, Aug 11: The Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) State government has allocated a grant of RM500,000 for the building of a new block of classrooms for Batu Kawa Min Lit secondary school.

Batu Kawah assemblyman Dato Sri Dr Sim Kui Hian said the new block of classrooms costing RM1.6 million will be ready for the new academic year 2022.


“Thanks (to) the School Board for the perseverance and resolve for the students and future Chinese education in Batu Kawa which is for all races.

“GPS Sarawak government helped with (a) grant of RM500,000,” he said in a social media post last night.

Dr Sim, who is also Minister for Local Government and Housing, was conducting a working visit to the secondary school yesterday to look at the progress of the classroom block construction. — DayakDaily
