MIRI, Sept 5: Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) is always ready to face the upcoming 15th General Election (GE15), says Sibuti MP Lukanisman Awang Sauni.
According to a report by Sarawak Public Communications Unit, he said this is because Sarawak has just held its 12th State Election last December and this was an indicator of GPS’ target for GE15.
“We (leaders) from GPS are always ready and the 12th State Election results became an indicator that we have the strong support of the people.
“This time it will be a GPS election for Parliament,” he said when met at Regatta@Niah 2022 at Pekan Sepupok Niah here on Saturday (Sept 3).
Lukanisman also said GPS will remain the kingmaker in the upcoming GE15 with all its machinery now oiled.
“We are only waiting for the signal from the Premier of Sarawak (Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg).
“The GPS elected representatives are always with the grassroots and go on the ground.
“GPS targets to form a stable government for the sake of the community, the people and the economy of the country and Sarawak,” he added. — DayakDaily
