Government clinics in Kuching open for Covid-19 swab test on Oct 30

KUCHING, Oct 28: Members of the public who want to undergo the Covid-19 swab test are urged to visit the government health clinics at Batu Kawa, Kota Sentosa, Tanah Puteh, Petrajaya and Jln Masjid from this Friday.

State Health Department director Dr Chin Zin Hing said those who want to undergo the Covid-19 swab test are required to make appointments with the government clinics first prior to their visit.

“The State Health Department will provide the facilities for the Covid-19 swab test following numerous requests.

“Some people might think that they have been exposed to the contacts of the cases but were not on the list which we have.

“Starting from this Friday (October 30), we will provide those facilities at the Batu Kawa Health Clinic, Kota Sentosa Health Clinic, Tanah Puteh Health Clinic, Petrajaya Health Clinic and Jln Masjid Health Clinic,” he said during a press conference here today.

He urged members of the public who want to undergo the Covid-19 swab test to make an appointment by contacting their nearest clinics to avoid overcrowding situations at the clinics.
