KUCHING, Sept 29: The Giam Cluster which centres on a village along Jalan Puncak Borneo here has logged a total of 147 confirmed Covid-19 cases as of today.
The State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) disclosed in its daily update that all positive patients from the community cluster have been admitted into Sarawak General Hospital (SGH), Kuching Low-risk Treatment and Quarantine Centre (PKRC) and Covid-19 Assessment Centre (CAC).
Meanwhile, the committee reported the end of the Dijih Cluster in Selangau after it recorded zero new cases for the past 28 consecutive days.
Among the 115 active clusters in Sarawak, nine registered new infections today with the Bungey 2 wedding reception cluster reporting the most cases at 52.
Following Bungey 2 were Long Urun Cluster with 16 new cases, Sibuluh-Nowang Cluster (7), Tembok Limbang Cluster (4), Duras Cluster (3), Sungai Poh Cluster (2), Kampung Simpok Cluster (2), Sungai Ipoh Cluster (2), and Industri Jalan Semeba Cluster (1). — DayakDaily
