KUCHING, Sept 1: Garden Box opens its doors in Plaza Merdeka to brings new unique experiences, experiential community retail and a play space for local businesses and artisans.

According to Plaza Merdeka Holdings Sdn Bhd managing director Dato Steve Ng in a statement today, Garden Box located on the lower ground floor of Plaza Merdeka showcases a unique variety of food and beverage, apparel, accessories, arts, cultural items and personal care products and more from local small entrepreneurs.

“There will be lots of exciting things to feast your senses on and the 4D Virtual Park will bring your senses into overload,” he said.


Meanwhile, Plaza Merdeka Holdings Sdn Bhd leasing manager Sylvester Soh said Garden Box offers opportunities to new entrepreneurs to jump-start their business at easy entry level without too much burden, a space where they can showcase their visions and goals and make them into reality.

Apart from retail, he said, Garden Box also doubles as a venue for community activities and events to bring new excitement to the heart of Kuching City.

“Garden Box is where we allow new ideas to germinate and a space for them to bloom, and to do that, we have made the entry affordable. You can own a space at present promotional rate starting from RM450,” he added.

The first 100 customers who spend RM50 (maximum of two combined receipts) at Garden Box will be rewarded with a RM10 Parkson voucher.

Shoppers are also entitled to weekly lucky draws as well as a grand lucky draw on Dec 12, 2022 with RM100,000 worth of prizes to be won.
