KUCHING, June 5: There is no need to use parking coupons at Kuching South City Council (MBKS) parking spaces throughout Movement Control Order (MCO) period until June 14.
MBKS Mayor Dato Wee Hong Seng informed today that parking coupons have been exempted from coupon parking zones under its jurisdiction during this MCO period.
“So parking is free and the public don’t need to scratch and display a parking coupon when using the coupon parking spaces in MBKS areas,” he shared during his ShallWeeTalk live session with the community today.
For those who have purchased the monthly parking pass, Wee said that a two-week discount will be applied when they renew their parking pass the following month.
“This is to be fair to those who have purchased the monthly pass.
“So like if they have purchased the pass for this month (June) and since parking fees will not be charged for two weeks, the fee will be deducted or discounted when they renew their monthly pass next month (July),” he added. — DayakDaily
