Former supervisor pleads not guilty to criminal breach of trust

KUCHING, April 10: A former supervisor of a company claimed trial to a criminal breach of trust charge here today.

Magistrate Mohd Syukri Mokhtar allowed her to be released on cash bail of RM6,000 and one local surety. He also set the date for next mention to be on May 15.


Chung Sak Fong, 31, from Batu 18, who was employed as a supervisor of the said company at that time, was charged with removing RM250,000 from a safety box without the company’s consent on November 29, 2018.

She is charged under Section 408 of the Penal Code, which carries an imprisonment term of not less than one year, and not more than fourteen years and with whipping and liable to fine if convicted.
