Foreigner suspected to have succumbed to epilepsy attack

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

KUCHING, July 12: A 37-year-old Indonesian man was found dead in front of a shop at Kota Sentosa earlier this evening.

The incident was reported to the authorities at 6.40pm and police and ambulance personnel were rushed to the scene.


According to Padawan District Deputy Police Chief DSP Lim Jaw Shyong, the deceased was believed to have experienced an epilepsy attack as there was foam around the deceased’s mouth.

A total of RM4,802 in cash, keys and a watch were found in the deceased trouser pocket. No signs of foul play were found on the deceased as well and there were no signs of injuries to the body.

The deceased was pronounced dead at the scene by a medical officer. The case has been handed over to the police. ā€” DayakDaily
