Floodlights worth RM120k to brighten up Padang Bandaraya Miri

MIRI, 30 Oct:  A total of six floodlights with a total of RM120,000 to be installed at Padang Majlid Bandaraya Miri at Jalan Padang here, and installation works expected for completion this coming December, disclosed Assistant Minister for Tourism, Arts and Culture Datuk Sebastian Ting on Friday.

He said this after visiting the field today to a group of local media.

“The installation cost is about RM120,000, and it is fully funded by the state government,” he said.
“Once the installation is completed, it would help improve visibility, increase safety on the football field and most important providing a great experience to our footballers while playing at the field,” Ting disclosed.


He added, that the floodlights would provide a total of 3,600 watts capacity.

The installation involved an estimated cost of RM80,000. – Dayakdaily
