KUCHING, Jan 9: Three men and two women were locked inside a bank auto-teller machine (ATM) room in Serian, yesterday.
Serian Fire and Rescue department (Bomba) in a statement said the five victims were trapped inside after the bank’s ATM room roller shutters automatically closed.
However, all the victims were freed safely after one of them was instructed to push on the roller shutter switch from the inside.
Firefighters later proceeded to lift the roller shutter from the outside of the premise. —DayakDaily.
