First Infantry Division thanks State govt for contributing to improve Solahuddin al Ayyubi Mosque

KUCHING, Aug 13: First Infantry Division commander Major Gen Datuk Dzulkafli Mustaffa has conveyed his gratitude to the Sarawak government for contributing to improve the Solahuddin al Ayubbi Mosque in Penrissen Camp here.

“The Malaysian Armed Force (ATM) especially in Kuching as well the Kariah committee members of Solahuddin al Ayyubi Mosque are very grateful for the contribution from the Sarawak government in the efforts to further develop and improve the management of the mosque.

“May this devotional contribution be rewarded in return and benefit everyone,” he said in a statement today.

The contribution was presented by Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg to Dzulkafli during a simple symbolic handing over ceremony of the cheque after attending the Friday prayer at the mosque, today.

In return, the Chief Minister was given a souvenir from the Solahuddin al Ayyubi Mosque.

Also present were Eastern Field Command commander Lt Gen Datuk Mardzuki Muhammad and Deputy State Secretary Dato Sri Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki. — DayakDaily
